ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ 3 ਕਰੋੜ 50 ਲੱਖ ਏਡ੍ਸ ਦੇ ਰੋਗੀ ਹਨ ਭਾਰਤ ਵਿਚ ਏਡ੍ਸ ਦੇ ਰੋਗੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 25 ਤੋਂ 30 ਲੱਖ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਵਿਚ ਏਡ੍ਸ ਦੇ ਮਰੀਜ਼ਾਂ ਦੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ 37000 ਹੈ ਹਰ ਸਾਲ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿਚ 20 ਲੱਖ ਲੋਕ ਏਡ੍ਸ ਨਾਲ ਮਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ ।
