Kho-Kho is a traditional Indian sport, being one of the oldest outdoor sports dating back to ancient India. It is the second most popular traditional tag game in the Indian subcontinent after Kabaddi. Kho-Kho is played on a rectangular court with a central lane connecting two poles which are at either end of the court.
ਖੋ-ਖੋ ਇੱਕ à¨ਾਰਤੀ ਮੈਦਾਨੀ ਖੇਲ ਹੈ। ਇਸ ਖੇਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਦੇ ਦੋਨੀਂ ਪਾਸੀਂ ਦੋ ਖੰà¨ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸਾਧਨ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰਤ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੁੰਦੀ। ਇਹ ਇੱਕ ਅੱਡਰੀ ਸਵਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਖੇਲ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਯੁਵਾ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਓਜ ਅਤੇ ਤੰਦੁਰੁਸਤ ਸੰਘਰਸ਼ਸ਼ੀਲ ਜੋਸ਼ à¨à¨°à¨¨ ਵਾਲੀ ਹੈ। ਇਹ ਖੇਲ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਰਖਿਅਕ, ਦੋਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਜ਼ਿਆਦਾ ਤੰਦੁਰੁਸਤੀ, ਕੌਸ਼ਲ, ਰਫ਼ਤਾਰ, ਊਰਜਾ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਤਿà¨ਾ ਦੀ ਮੰਗ ਕਰਦੀ ਹੈ। ਖੋ-ਖੋ ਕਿਸੇ ਵੀ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਤ੍ਹਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਖੇਡਿਆ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ।
